We’re looking for a Cloud Security Engineer for our consultancy client supporting a large cyber security programme for a financial services organisation. This is an initial 6 month contract paying between £400 to £600 per day Outside IR35.
The programme focuses on strengthening cloud security controls across a large AWS and Azure environment as part of a wider cyber security transformation initiative. This role allows remote working with occasional travel to London when required.
The successful Cloud Security Engineer will possess proven skills working with the following:
- Implementing cloud security controls across AWS or Azure environments
- Supporting secure cloud architecture and platform hardening
- Working with cloud security tools such as AWS Security Hub, Azure Defender or similar
- Monitoring and responding to cloud security threats and vulnerabilities
- Supporting DevOps and engineering teams to embed security controls into cloud platforms
- Implementing security frameworks aligned with NIST, CIS or ISO 27001
Experience within financial services, fintech or other regulated environments would be beneficial.
