We're looking for a HR Business Partner for the public sector client based in London on an initial 3-month contract, paying up to £490 per day (Inside IR35). This role offers hybrid working, with an expectation to be in the office 1 to 2 days per week, with more presence expected at the start to build relationships with key stakeholders.
The successful HR Business Partner will be an experienced, confident HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. This is a hands-on senior generalist role sitting within a small but busy People and Culture team, with a strong focus on complex employee relations casework and senior stakeholder engagement across a legally focused organisation.
You will need proven experience working with the following:
- Managing a high volume ER caseload covering misconduct, grievances, harassment and sensitive matters
- Supporting Employment Tribunal cases and navigating complex, contentious HR issues
- Business partnering at a senior level within a demanding, reactive environment
- Coaching and guiding managers through formal HR processes
- Working within civil service, law enforcement, legal or similarly regulated environments
- CIPD Level 7 or equivalent experience is required
- Familiarity with Oracle HR systems would be an advantage
