We’re looking for a Workforce Planning Manager (HR) for our public sector client based in London, Lytham St Annes, Durham or Glasgow on an initial 6‑month contract paying up to £515 per day inside IR35.
This role offers hybrid working with an expectation to attend the office two days per week.
This position sits firmly within the HR and People function and plays a key role in shaping workforce strategy. You’ll work closely with HR leaders, business partners and senior stakeholders, using data and insight to support organisational planning and decision making. Consultancy support is available at an expert level.
You will need to hold the ability to pass security checks if required.
Qualifications
- Strategic workforce planning within a HR setting
- Developing HR workforce models and forecasting tools
- Advanced Excel including pivot tables, complex formulas and automation
- Power BI dashboards and automated reporting
- HR Management Information and presenting people data in clear formats for senior audiences
- Translating technical data into practical, HR‑led recommendations
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and analysing large, complex HR and workforce data sets
- Supporting HR leaders with planning, resourcing and organisational design insights
- Presenting people data clearly to non‑analysts
- Advising and influencing HR stakeholders using data‑driven insight
- Identifying workforce risks and recommending practical solutions
- Building Power BI dashboards and automated HR reporting
