We're looking for a Procurement Consultant for our public sector client on a 6-month contract (Inside IR35). The role is remote, with an expectation to attend the office in person for team meetings.

The successful Procurement Consultant will be an experienced public sector procurement professional who is confident leading compliant procurement activity from strategy through to contract award. You will develop procurement strategies, run competitive processes and work closely with multi-disciplinary project teams to influence stakeholders and identify the right routes to market.

You will need proven experience working with the following:

  • Public sector procurement, including developing strategies to identify compliant opportunities and routes to market
  • Leading procurements, including further competitions from government framework agreements and Dynamic Purchasing Systems
  • Market engagement activities, including running events, developing questions and analysing information to shape procurement strategies
  • Drafting invitation to tender documentation and contracts for contract award
  • Managing procurement activity through e-sourcing platforms such as Jaggaer or similar
  • Working within multi-disciplined project teams, with strong communication and influencing skills

Candidates must either hold an active SC clearance or be able to obtain it.
