We are seeking a Procurement Specialist for our rail client based in London on an initial contract paying up to £625 per day Inside IR35.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid working – 2 to 3 days per week in the office.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of ETCS (European Train Control System)
- Strong rail sector experience
- Proven track record in developing and delivering procurement strategies aligned with national frameworks
- Experience in full-cycle procurement, including pre-qualification, tendering, negotiation, and contract preparation
- Ability to influence contractor and sub-contractor procurement activities
- Familiarity with EU Procurement Directives and compliance with legal/regulatory frameworks
- Skilled in supplier performance management, cost reduction initiatives, and maintaining HSQE standards
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
