We're looking for a Sourcing Manager for a transport public sector organisation, based in Milton Keynes (hybrid), on an initial 6-month contract, paying up to £550 per day (Inside IR35, Umbrella). This is a hybrid role with an expectation to attend the office in Milton Keynes 3 days per week. The successful Sourcing Manager will lead sourcing activities for multi-million-pound, medium cost and business risk opportunities across complex spend categories. You'll run the full process from business requirement through to contract signature, delivering commercial and contractual value in support of the Commercial & Procurement Director's savings targets. Technology / ICT / IT Sourcing within the public sector Contract law and financial management Agile, cross-functional collaborative working Executive-level direct and indirect influencing in a complex, devolved organisation Detailed knowledge of the UK Rail Industry, including procurement processes in a reclassified environment, would be a bonus.
