This is a hybrid role with occasional travel required for monthly and quarterly meetings, and an expectation to attend the office in London for initial onboarding and training.

The successful Contract Manager will lead the mobilisation of a new national contracted service, taking ownership of supplier performance and ensuring all contractual, operational and workforce requirements are delivered on time and to the required standard. They will provide commercial oversight and assurance throughout mobilisation, driving delivery across the critical path and managing risks and dependencies. They will also oversee transition into steady-state contract management, securing effective handover and capturing lessons learned to strengthen future delivery.

You will need proven experience working with the following:

  • Large-scale contract management, including mobilisation and transition
  • Commercial oversight, including compliance, value for money and supplier accountability
  • Governance and risk management frameworks
  • Managing service model contracts
  • Stakeholder engagement across policy, commercial, legal and operational functions
  • Evidence-based assurance and go/no-go decision-making

Experience in delivery-focused environments with competing priorities would be beneficial, as would experience working on victim-focused projects. CMCP (Practitioner) or CIPFA Diploma in Contract Management is required for this role. You'll need to hold or be eligible to obtain SC clearance.
