We’re looking for a Commercial Manager for our public sector client on an initial 6-month contract, with a view to extending, paying up to £550 per day inside IR35. This role offers hybrid working, with an expectation to attend the office 3 days per week.
The successful Commercial Officer will support the re-procurement of key IT services alongside BAU contract and commercial management. You'll be working within a multi-disciplinary team, engaging with the market, managing procurement activity through CCS frameworks and providing commercial advice across a busy and varied portfolio.
You will need proven experience working with the following:
- End-to-end procurement within the public sector, including re-opened competition via CCS frameworks
- Market engagement including supplier events, ITT documentation and commercial approvals
- Contract management and commercial advice for BAU contracted services
- Stakeholder management, with the ability to communicate commercial risk clearly to non-commercial audiences
- Working with legal advisors on procurement compliance and regulatory matters
- Managing TUPE considerations within a procurement process
- CIPS or MCIPS is desirable
You will need to hold or be able to pass SC clearance for this role.
