We are looking for a Reward Consultant for a public sector organisation with a strong finance environment, based in either London or Leeds. This is a 9 month contract paying between £450 and £500 per day, inside IR35. The role offers hybrid working, with an expectation to attend the office 2 days per week. You will need to either hold current Security Clearance or have the ability to pass it.

Key responsibilities and experience required:

  • Strong expertise across reward, job evaluation, and pay governance.
  • Strong understanding of job evaluation methodologies and organisational design.
  • Experience developing or maintaining job architecture frameworks.
  • Proven experience in reward, with a focus on pay equity and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong understanding of gender pay gap reporting requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with data management tools (experience with R or similar tools is desirable).
  • Ability to influence, challenge constructively, and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs to tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative, proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
