We're looking for a Knowledge Manager for a public sector organisation based in London on an initial 12-month contract, paying up to £41.92 per hour Umbrella (Inside IR35). This is a hands-on leadership role sitting at the intersection of knowledge management, information governance and digital tools. You will take ownership of a range of internal platforms and knowledge systems, leading a small team responsible for keeping them well-managed, well-used and continuously improving. The role is as much about people and process as it is about technology, and the right person will be equally comfortable working with content owners, frontline users and senior stakeholders as they are with the systems themselves.

You will need proven experience in the following:

  • Managing knowledge, content or document management systems in an organisational setting
  • Leading or managing a small team
  • Working with platforms such as SharePoint, WordPress, Sitecore or similar
  • Improving how systems are used across an organisation, including training and user adoption
  • Managing relationships with a range of stakeholders including digital teams and operational colleagues
  • Organising and maintaining information in a structured, accessible way

Experience in the public sector or a regulated environment would be an advantage.
