We're looking for an Application Engineer for a public sector organisation, based in Exeter (hybrid) on an initial 12-month contract, paying up to £530 per day.
This is a hybrid role with one day per week on site in Exeter.
The successful Application Engineer will support, manage and maintain a suite of applications, keeping services running against agreed performance targets.
You'll handle secure configuration and IT asset control, manage service components, and take ownership of incidents and problem investigation through to resolution.
You'll also apply change control procedures and engage with users and stakeholders to understand their needs.
You will need proven experience in the following: Application support and maintenance Configuration management and IT asset control Service availability, capacity and component management Change, incident and problem management Service Now Stakeholder engagement Continual service improvement and process efficiency work would be beneficial.
You'll need to hold or be eligible to obtain SC clearance.
