We're looking for a Workforce Planning Manager for a public sector organisation, based in Wiltshire (hybrid), on an initial 6-month contract, paying up to £620 per day (Inside IR35, Umbrella).

There's an expectation to attend the office in Wiltshire around 3 days a week.

The successful Workforce Planning Lead will own the development, maintenance and annual publication of the organisation's Strategic Workforce Plan. You'll build supply and demand forecasts, run scenario planning and workforce modelling, and lead the people analytics capability that turns workforce data into evidence-based recommendations. You'll also coordinate workforce governance forums and present clear recommendations to Executive-level stakeholders.

You will need proven experience working with the following:

Leading Strategic Workforce Planning in a complex organisation

Building workforce supply and demand models and forecasts

People analytics, workforce insight, dashboard development and trend analysis

Workforce capability assessment and workforce risk analysis

Advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivots, macros)

Multiple variable, regression, factor and thematic analysis

You'll also need strong governance, stakeholder management and facilitation skills, along with the ability to shape workforce data into practical interventions and present findings to senior leaders.

Experience implementing workforce operating models or transformation programmes would be beneficial, as would Power BI.

You'll need to hold or be eligible to obtain SC clearance.
