We're looking for a Finance Specialist (Fraud) for a public sector organisation based in Reading (hybrid) on an initial 10-month contract, paying up to £36 per hour (Inside IR35). This is a hybrid role with up to four days a week on site in Reading.
The successful Finance Specialist will work within the CFO Finance team, delivering financial activities across:
- Financial accounting
- Financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
- Financial compliance and governance frameworks
- Finance systems
- Stakeholder management
- Process improvement and identifying efficiencies
You'll provide timely, accurate financial data, support analysis and interpretation, and keep financial processes running to a high standard. You'll also mentor junior analysts, graduates and apprentices, and build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
You will need proven experience working with the following:
- Experience mentoring and training junior finance staff would be beneficial.
- A recognised business or finance qualification is desirable, with evidence provided at onboarding.
- You'll need to hold or be eligible to obtain SC clearance for this role.
