An opportunity has arisen for an Analyst - Grade 3 within the Inorganics department at ALS Environmental in Coventry, West Midlands. As an Analyst Grade 3 you will be completing, to the required timescales and quality standards, the analysis of samples for a range of methods.
Hours Per Week: 37 Days Per Week: Friday to Tuesday (08:00 - 16:00). Due to emergency cover requirements for one of our major clients, the successful candidate will be expected to work on bank holidays that fall on a Monday and be on standby for other key bank holidays, including Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day. Contract: Full Time and Permanent Salary: £25,242 per annum Hiring Manager: Chaya Parekh Closing Date: Friday 3rd October 2025The day to day- Understand customer requirements.
- Ensure samples are completed efficiently and effectively following all process, procedures, and legislation.
- Deliver on key performance indicators.
- Report analytical data.
- Troubleshoot and rectify equipment issues, including daily preventative maintenance.
- Investigate and report on NCW on the QMS and assign priority.
- Assist team members to achieve work objectives, including training colleagues to the required standards.
- Proactively ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- 5 GCSEs at Grade C (equivalent to new Grade 4) or above to include Science, Maths and English
- A level or equivalent in scientific subject
- Previous laboratory experience is beneficial.
