Our Team
INVISTA is looking for a motivated Multi Skilled Engineer who has experience in the practical aspects of engineering and maintenance in a manufacturing environment. This is a Shift Based Role, involving 12-hour shifts, rotating 2 days and 2 nights (7.00 am to 7.00 pm and 7.00 pm to 7.00 am respectively).
What You Will Do
- The purpose of this role is to work as an integral part of the operations team to deliver effective and efficient maintenance to the manufacturing facility to ensure continuous operation 24 hours per day, 365 days a year.
- This role will support the site operations team in carrying out a wide range of electrical/instrumentation activities to include:
- Routine maintenance to support plant critical systems and equipment.
- Equipment performance and reliability.
- First line fault finding and diagnostics.
- Support of Operations Improvement and Transformation projects.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience of the practical aspects of maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Successful completion of an Electrical/Instrumentation Apprenticeship; or NVQ Level 3 or a National Certificate in an Electrical/Instrumentation discipline or equivalent.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of the Operations Team.
- The ability to plan, prioritise and schedule your work in a busy manufacturing environment.
- The ability to work with Computer Based Maintenance Planning systems.
- The ability to work under pressure.
What Will Put You Ahead
- HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
Our compensation philosophy has an individualized approach, and we compensate each individual based on the contribution they make to the organization (through a mix of base pay, and other variable compensation schemes). The salary for this role is between £38k-£42k DOE per annum plus a £8427 per annum shift allowance. In addition you will receive a competitive holiday allowance, a defined contribution based pension scheme, private medical cover, access to an Employee Assistance Programme for you and your family and Life Assurance.
