We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our Koch EMEA Payroll team as HRS Payroll Specialist, supporting multiple Koch Businesses across the UK and Ireland. The Koch Global Services Payroll capability is responsible for delivering excellent Consumer and Customer services to multiple Koch Companies across the globe. In this role, you will be working as part of our dynamic payroll team and as part of our European HR Solutions capability. You will have the primary responsibility for payroll processing for multiple KOCH companies in the UK, partnering with different capabilities across HR and Finance as well as with our external payroll providers.
What You Will Do
- Deliver excellent Customer Service working with the EMEA payroll team, payroll vendors, Finance and HR teams across multiple companies.
- Process payrolls, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payroll calculations and pensions contributions in accordance with UK employment tax compliance.
- Interact with government agencies and submit legal requests for payroll and human resources.
- Advise and consult employees, supervisors and HR on payroll, benefits, and tax compliance issues.
- Deliver regular and ad hoc HR reports and analyses.
- Participate in global/local projects around payroll according to business requirements.
- Continuously improve payroll and employment compliance processes.
- Support other team members, including potential opportunities to work with other Koch companies in the UK and Europe.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Extensive experience in UK payroll with a strong practical understanding of payroll calculations and auto enrolment.
- Broad knowledge of employment tax, UK legislation.
- Strong analytical aptitude with system and data analysis skills.
- Independent and self-driven way of working.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem solving.
- Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Lifelong learner with intellectual curiosity.
- Excellent communication skills in English (fluent oral and written).
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience of financial processes and General Ledger mapping.
- Experience of ADP iHCM / Megapay / SD Worx.
- Experience of working in a shared service environment.
- CIPP accreditation or other similar qualifications.
