The Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of a major leisure development in Yeovil. You will lead the project commercially from pre-construction through to completion, reporting into senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Full commercial management of the project
- Preparing and managing cost plans and budgets
- Leading subcontract procurement and negotiations
- Managing valuations, variations, and change control
- Producing accurate monthly cost/value reports
- Managing and mentoring junior commercial staff
- Final accounts and client liaison
Requirements
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Extensive main contractor experience
- Proven track record delivering projects from start to finish
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work on site in Yeovil
