We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor for an experienced Site Manager to join their team on a £50M industrial unit new build project in Swansea. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a highly respected contractor known for delivering large-scale, high-quality projects across the UK. The Role
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will be managing subcontractors, coordinating site activities, and working closely with the wider project team from inception through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee site operations on a large-scale industrial new build project
- Manage subcontractors, trades, and site personnel
- Ensure strict adherence to health & safety regulations
- Monitor programme timelines and drive progress on site
- Maintain high standards of quality control
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams
- Report on project progress to senior management
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on industrial new build projects from groundworks through to completion
- Background working with a main contractor (Tier 1 experience highly desirable)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications
- Ability to manage fast-paced, high-value projects
- Flexibility to travel and lodge when required
