We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a long-term Passive Fire Protection contract in Maidenhead.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a background in passive fire protection, fire stopping and/or fire door works to join an ongoing project, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of site activities and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing day-to-day site operations and managing site personnel.
- Supervising passive fire protection works, including fire stopping and fire door installation/remedial works.
- Ensuring works are completed in line with project specifications, programme requirements and relevant standards.
- Monitoring quality, inspecting completed works and addressing any defects.
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed across the site.
- Coordinating subcontractors, labour and materials.
- Maintaining site records, progress reports and relevant project documentation.
- Liaising with the client, project team and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Site Manager within Passive Fire Protection or a related construction environment.
- SMSTS certification.
- First Aid certification.
- Own vehicle essential.
- Strong organisational, communication and site management skills.
- Good understanding of site health and safety and quality control procedures.
