The Role
We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on a high-quality leisure development in Yeovil. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a fast-paced, design-led project with a reputable main contractor.
You will support the commercial delivery of the project from procurement through to final account, working closely with site and senior commercial staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with cost control and commercial reporting
- Procurement of subcontract packages
- Valuations, variations, and cost forecasting
- Supporting interim applications and final accounts
- Liaising with site teams and subcontractors
- Ensuring commercial compliance and best practice
Requirements
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Previous experience working with a main contractor
- Strong understanding of construction commercial processes
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work on site in Yeovil
