Residential Liaison Officer – North London Area – Growing Contractor – Up to £35K + Van + Fuel Card
My client, we deliver high-quality refurbishment and construction services across London and the South East. Known for our client-focused approach and strong community values, we work closely with local authorities, housing associations, and residents to ensure our projects are delivered with care, professionalism, and minimal disruption.
The Role
We are seeking a proactive and personable Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join our growing team. You will act as the key point of contact between, our site teams, and residents during construction and refurbishment works—ensuring communication is clear, timely, and considerate at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the main liaison between residents and the site/project team
- Provide clear information about scheduled works, access requirements, and timelines
- Address resident queries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner
- Arrange and attend resident meetings and drop-in sessions
- Carry out pre-entry visits and surveys
- Prepare and distribute resident letters and newsletters
- Support vulnerable residents and ensure their specific needs are considered
- Keep accurate records of all communication and issues raised
- Ensure excellent customer satisfaction throughout the works
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
- Understanding of social housing or refurbishment environments is a plus
- A full UK driving licence is desirable
