Lead the pre-construction phase of passive fire protection projects, ensuring full planning, coordination, and commercial viability before site delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead pre-construction across multiple projects
- Carry out feasibility, risk assessments, and programme planning
- Review designs for compliance with fire safety regulations
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors
- Produce cost plans, budgets (2-5m projects), and forecasts
- Prepare key documentation (method statements, PQPs, ITPs, compliance matrices)
- Support tenders and bids with technical/commercial input
- Identify risks and value engineering opportunities
- Manage subcontractor and supplier evaluation
Requirements
- Experience in pre-construction, estimating, or project coordination
- Background in fire protection or construction
- Knowledge of fire doors, compartmentation, and fire stopping
- Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills
