My client are a multi-sector contractor operating throughout the United Kingdom. Operating across infrastructure, residential, commercial and more. With their Head Office based in London and regional offices throughout the United Kingdom, my client have over 800 members of staff and have multiple successful divisions within the business who individually manage significant workloads. The Fire Protection division is a great focus at present, with numerous contracts throughout London, Home Counties, Midlands and the Southcoast. They are looking to expand this arm of the business with experienced fire protection specialists who have extensive knowledge of passive fire protection and a portfolio of successfully completed fire safety projects. The Role My client are looking for a Supervisor to assist with their expanding fire protection operations within the Reading region. You will be repsonsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of fire protection packages. You will be expected to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of fire risk assessments, fire remediation and fire stopping. My client are open to reviewing nationwide candidates for this opportunity, providing they are open to working away from home 5 days a week. If the succesful candidate is lodging, acccomodation will be covered by the employer and the Supervisor will be paid their hourly rate whilst commuting to Reading. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and deliver passive fire protection refurbishment works such as fire stopping, compartmentation, cavity barriers, fire doors, acoustic sealing, and movement joint systems. * Ensure efficient coordination between clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams. * Maintain full compliance with FIRAS, ASFP, and other industry fire protection standards. * Monitor project budgets, schedules, and quality, upholding safety and client satisfaction. * Advocate for high standards of workmanship and best practice in all fire protection elements. Essential: * Experience working with a fire protection specialist. * Proven experience as a Site Manager or Site Supervisor on passive fire protection packages. * Longevity with current or recent employer. * Strong knowledge of fire protection systems and compliance (e.g., FIRAS, ASFP standards). * Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and site management skills. * Passion for quality delivery and delivering safe, compliant projects.
