We are a dynamic, multi-disciplinary contractor delivering high-quality passive fire protection and compliance services across the Southeast of England, including London and the Home Counties. With a focus on safety, quality, and innovation, we support tier-one contractors, developers, and principal contractors in meeting strict fire safety regulations across a wide range of new build and refurbishment schemes.

Operating at the forefront of the fire protection industry, our services include:

  • Fire door sets and fire curtain systems
  • Structural fire protection and intumescent coatings
  • Compliance inspections, testing, and digital reporting

We work extensively across the residential, commercial, and public sectors, with a strong portfolio of new build apartment blocks, mixed-use developments, and major regeneration projects.

We are seeking a highly organised and technically proficient Passive Fire Project Manager to lead the delivery of passive fire works across multiple new build residential developments. You will ensure the highest standards of fire safety compliance, working closely with site teams, contractors, and clients to coordinate effective installation and documentation of all fire protection systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of passive fire protection works on new build residential schemes, including service penetrations, compartmentation, riser protection, and structural fireproofing.
  • Coordinate installation teams across live projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to all safety and quality standards.
  • Interpret architectural drawings and fire strategy reports to plan and sequence fire protection works efficiently.
  • Work closely with main contractors, M&E teams, and building control to ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. BS 476, BS 9991/9999).
  • Conduct regular QA inspections and ensure accurate digital record-keeping using fire protection software platforms.
  • Oversee handover documentation, including test certificates, photographic evidence, and as-built records.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in managing passive fire works in a new build environment, ideally on high-rise residential projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of fire stopping materials, systems, and installation methods in accordance with third-party certifications (FIRAS, BM Trada, etc.).
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead site teams and liaise with senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working with digital tools for compliance documentation and reporting.
  • SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), First Aid – desirable.
