I’m currently working with a growing construction and fit-out business that specialises in delivering high-quality refurbishment, fit-out, and renovation projects within the education sector across the UK. Due to continued growth and several projects about to commence, they are now looking to appoint a Project Manager operating in a Contracts Manager capacity to support projects from pre-construction through to handover.
This is a hands-on role within a small but highly successful team, where you will be heavily involved in the full project lifecycle including pre-construction, commercial management, client liaison, programme coordination, and operational delivery. The role offers a genuine opportunity to become a key part of a growing business with long-term progression potential.
Upcoming projects include:
- Cambridge – Sixth Form Fit-Out – £400k
- St Albans – Sixth Form Fit-Out – £110k
- Buckinghamshire – Conversion of Residential Property into Sixth Form Facility – £2.2m
The role will be split between office, site, and some home working flexibility, with travel fully expensed at 45p per mile. Where overnight stays are required, accommodation is fully arranged via the company’s Premier Inn account. You will be expected to visit live projects regularly, ensure programmes and budgets are being maintained, and attend client meetings throughout the delivery process.
They are looking for someone commercially aware, proactive, client-facing, and willing to be part of a collaborative team environment within a growing business. If this could be of interest, please send over your updated CV or get in touch for a confidential discussion.
