A market-leading MEP contractor is seeking an ambitious M 30 million new-build industrial/commercial project on the outskirts of Glasgow. This high-profile development is being delivered for the Ministry of Defence (MOD) and offers the opportunity to work on a technically complex scheme with one of the UK’s most respected building services contractors.

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Commercial team, you will play a key role in the commercial delivery of a major MEP package, helping to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing subcontractor procurement and account administration
  • Preparing and agreeing interim valuations and final accounts
  • Identifying, pricing, and negotiating variations
  • Cost reporting, forecasting, and budget management
  • Supporting the preparation of monthly CVRs
  • Working closely with project, design, and operational teams
  • Assisting with risk and opportunity management throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensuring commercial compliance with contractual requirements

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as an MEP Quantity Surveyor for a sub or main contractor.
  • Strong commercial and contractual awareness
