For Companies About the RoleMy client are a market leading fire protection contractor seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join their Major Projects Division. The role is based in Southwark, with a mix of office-based work, home working, and site visits. You will be responsible for working with the commercial team on passive fire protection contracts predominantly based in Central London.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the commercial aspects of major construction projects, with contracts valued up to £6m.
Oversee project budgets, costs, and cash flow, ensuring commercial targets are met.
Prepare cost reports, valuations, and financial forecasts for senior management.
Negotiate contracts and variations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Support tendering and bid processes for major projects.
Travel to sites across Central London
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on Passive Fire contracts.
Strong technical knowledge.
Confident in managing budgets up to £6m.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
