We are currently seeking experienced Fire Door Installers to join our growing team, working across a variety of commercial projects throughout London. Projects include retail environments and government contracts, offering consistent, long-term work. Role Overview
- Fitting, upgrading, and repairing timber fire doors and their frames.
- Ensuring all work meets FIRAS standards, manufacturer instructions, and internal quality procedures.
- Logging completed tasks and compliance information through digital tools.
- Collaborating closely with supervisors and on-site teams to uphold quality and safety standards.
- Acting as a professional representative of the company while on client sites.
Candidate Profile
- Has demonstrable experience with fire door installation or refurbishment projects.
- Possesses a solid understanding of BS 8214, FIRAS, and general fire safety legislation.
- Holds FIRAS accreditation (or is willing to obtain it; support can be provided).
- Is flexible with travel and overnight stays as project requirements dictate.
- Valid CSCS card (preferred).
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
