Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Site Manager / Supervisor – part of the Building Services Team – to work on a new build healthcare/commercial project in North London. The project is a new build, state‐of‐the‐art building with an anticipated gross internal area of up to 46,000m2. Designed with flexibility in mind, it will be able to meet future service requirements and keep pace with changes in technological, medical or research requirements. Its design has been the subject of an extensive programme of engagement with patients, staff and partner organisations to ensure a national standard for accessibility is created.

Essential:

  • Experienced Electrical Supervisor Construction with experience in Fitout
  • Knowledge of Dalux, Fieldview or similar (snagging) software required
  • Experience gained with a main contractor or electrical sub‐contractor
  • People management skills
  • Understanding the importance of coordination and quality assurance throughout each phase of installation and taking ownership of these key factors
  • Proven communication and presentation skills
  • Safety Consciousness: A strong commitment to safety is crucial for an Electrical Site Engineering work, this includes a comprehensive understanding of electrical safety protocols and regulations, along with the ability to enforce them and implement proper safety measures on construction sites
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Managing multiple tasks, prioritizing work, and meeting deadlines are essential for an Electrical Site Engineer. Strong organizational and time management skills enable effective project planning, coordination, and delivery.

Requirements:

  • Valid SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid
  • Electrical qualification – 18th Edition or Similar / Electrical Background
  • Experience working for a main or M&E sub‐contractor with exposure to large projects £50 million++
  • Healthcare, Life Sciences or Commercial Fit‐out experience beneficial
