Site Manager – Industrial New Build Location: High Wycombe / Buckinghamshire Salary: Up to £50,000 + Package Employment Type: Permanent Sector: Industrial / Logistics / New Build We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction contractor for a permanent Site Manager position covering projects in and around High Wycombe. The contractor has a strong pipeline of industrial and logistics developments, with projects ranging from approximately £5M to £25M. We are looking for a capable Site Manager who can take ownership of site delivery and become a key part of the project team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a permanent position with a contractor delivering quality industrial new-build schemes across the South East. The Role You will be responsible for the effective management of site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently, to programme and in accordance with the required quality standards. Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team, you will coordinate subcontractors, manage site activities and ensure the smooth progression of works from groundworks through to completion. Key Responsibilities * Managing daily site operations and construction activities * Coordinating subcontractors, labour and site resources * Ensuring works are completed in line with programme and project requirements * Managing site logistics and sequencing * Monitoring quality and workmanship * Ensuring RAMS and health & safety procedures are adhered to * Carrying out regular site inspections * Attending site meetings and coordinating with project stakeholders * Monitoring progress and providing regular updates to the Project Manager * Maintaining accurate site records and documentation * Assisting with project completion, snagging and handover Requirements * Proven experience working as a Site Manager * Industrial, logistics, warehouse or commercial new-build experience * Experience working on projects between £5M and £25M is desirable * Valid CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid * Strong knowledge of construction processes and site management * Confident managing subcontractors and site teams * Good communication and organisational skills * Full UK driving licence and own vehicle * Must be comfortable travelling to different project locations What's on Offer * Permanent employment * Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience * Company package * Long-term work with an established contractor * Strong pipeline of industrial new-build projects * Projects across High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas * Genuine opportunity for career development and progression If you're an experienced Site Manager with a background in industrial or commercial new-build construction and are open to travelling for the right opportunity, we'd like to hear from you
