We are currently representing a growing main contractor who specialise in large scale commercial and education schemes with values up to £20m. My client is going through a growth period, they are looking for a candidate who is seeking to expand on their existing knowledge and has the drive and determination to progress as the company grows.

The Position: My client are open to either a Trainee or an Assistant Estimator, this is very much about the right attitude and desire. You would join a well established team who can aid with continued professional development.

  • You will play a pivotal role in the pre-construction phase, providing accurate and commercially robust cost advice across a range of construction projects.
  • The position involves detailed analysis of drawings and specifications, preparation of comprehensive cost plans and tenders, engagement with supply chain partners to secure competitive pricing and identification of commercial and delivery risks.
  • Working closely with the senior management and project teams, you will support strategic bid decisions and help ensure projects are secured on terms that deliver both value for clients and sustainable profitability for the business.
