An established and growing passive fire protection contractor is looking for experienced Site Engineers / Operatives to join a busy delivery team working on a range of fire safety and FRA remediation projects across London and the Home Counties. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work with a strong pipeline of projects and the opportunity to progress into a permanent position following an initial agency period. The role will involve working on occupied social housing and residential properties, carrying out high-quality fire safety remedial works to ensure compliance with current fire regulations and FRA recommendations.

The Role

  • Fire door installation and remediation works (FD30 / FD60 / FD90)
  • Fire stopping, compartmentation and containment works
  • Carrying out FRA remedial works in line with compliance standards
  • Recording works through digital reporting systems
  • Working safely and professionally within occupied properties
  • Supporting site management teams to deliver projects efficiently and to a high standard

What We’re Looking For

  • A relevant trade background within carpentry, fire protection or construction
  • Previous experience in fire door installation and FRA remediation
  • Knowledge of passive fire protection systems and compliance standards
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Experience working within social housing or resident-occupied environments (preferred)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Access to a medium panel van

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS check required within 2 weeks of start date
  • CSCS Card required within 4 weeks of start date
