Fire Door Installer

We are currently seeking experienced Fire Door Installers to join our growing team, working across a variety of commercial projects throughout London. Projects include retail environments and government contracts, offering consistent, long-term work.

Role Overview

• Fitting, upgrading, and repairing timber fire doors and their frames.
• Ensuring all work meets FIRAS standards, manufacturer instructions, and internal quality procedures.
• Logging completed tasks and compliance information through digital tools.
• Collaborating closely with supervisors and on-site teams to uphold quality and safety standards.
• Acting as a professional representative of the company while on client sites.

Candidate Profile

• Has demonstrable experience with fire door installation or refurbishment projects.
• Possesses a solid understanding of BS 8214, FIRAS, and general fire safety legislation.
• Holds FIRAS accreditation (or is willing to obtain it; support can be provided).
• Is flexible with travel and overnight stays as project requirements dictate.
• Valid CSCS card (preferred)
• Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
