A leading contractor delivering large-scale industrial, infrastructure and complex build projects nationwide is seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong civils background to join their Midlands-based pre-construction team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking business with a significant pipeline of negotiated and framework projects across logistics, infrastructure and major commercial developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical documentation
- Managing take-offs and subcontractor enquiries
- Pricing civils packages including groundworks, drainage, roads and external works
- Identifying value engineering opportunities and project risks
- Liaising closely with operational and pre-construction teams
- Supporting bid presentations and client engagement
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Estimator within construction or civil engineering
- Strong civils and groundworks knowledge
- Experience pricing large-scale projects
- Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tenders
