Fire Stopper (Tech 2) – Passive Fire Protection About the Role We are looking for an experienced Fire Stopper to join a growing delivery team, working across fire protection and Social Housing projects for a Tier 1 market leading Specialist Passive Fire Protection contractor. This is a hands-on, site-based role where you will play a key part in ensuring buildings meet the highest fire safety and compliance standards. You will be trusted to work independently on site, delivering high-quality passive fire protection works while maintaining strict adherence to regulations and specifications. Key Responsibilities We will rely on you to carry out a full range of passive fire protection works, including fire stopping to walls, floors and service penetrations Installing fire collars, batt and mastic systems, intumescent products and associated fire-stopping solutions Working accurately from drawings, specifications and manufacturers’ details Ensuring all works are completed in line with current fire safety regulations and quality standards Completing site paperwork, reports and compliance documentation accurately and on time Maintaining high standards of workmanship in occupied and non-occupied properties Liaising with site supervisors, managers and other trades as required Identifying and resolving issues on site to ensure works are delivered right first time Working safely at all times in line with health & safety procedures What We’re Looking For Experienced Fire Stopper with strong technical knowledge who can work independently on site across our clients pipeline of Social Housing projects. Proven experience delivering passive fire protection / fire stopping works within Social Housing Strong understanding of fire safety standards, compliance and quality requirements Good communication skills and a professional, reliable approach to work Ability to manage your own workload and work to programme deadlines NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry or Passive Fire Protection is Essential You must hold one of the following qualifications: * NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection * NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry * City & Guilds in Carpentry and Joinery or Fire Protection Salary & Package * Up to £41,000 basic salary + Package * Full package included: * Vehicle share with an Apprentice who will assist you in day-to-day working * Fuel card * Bonus scheme * 25 days annual leave + bank holidays * 5-day Christmas shutdown
