My client is a leading specialist passive fire protection contractor delivering high‑quality fireproofing solutions across major commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure projects. The business provides a comprehensive range of passive fire protection services, including structural steel fireproofing, fire stopping, compartmentation, intumescent coatings, and specialist insulation systems. With a growing portfolio of high‑profile work and a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, my client continues to invest heavily in its people, systems, and long‑term growth.
The successful candidate will act as the key link between the commercial, technical, site, and QA/compliance teams, ensuring all departments remain aligned and working from consistent project information throughout the lifecycle of each project.
Responsibilities- Preparing and coordinating comprehensive pre‑construction packs
- Managing fire stopping and passive fire protection system documentation
- Reviewing installation drawings, product data, and manufacturer approvals
- Coordinating RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements)
- Supporting programme reviews and scope clarifications prior to site commencement
- Assisting with the development and management of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
- Coordinating inspection stages, hold points, and sign‑off procedures
- Tracking and managing quality issues through QNPs/NCRs
- Coordinating corrective actions with site and project teams
- Verifying supporting quality and compliance evidence
- Supporting project handover documentation and compliance records
- Liaising with design, technical, commercial, procurement, QA, and site teams
- Coordinating with external contractors, consultants, and stakeholders
