A leading main contractor with a strong presence across the Midlands is looking to appoint an experienced Internals Manager / Finishing Manager to support the delivery of a major high-rise residential and mixed-use development in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded business delivering complex, large-scale schemes across residential, commercial and regeneration sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the internal fit-out and finishing phases, ensuring exceptional quality standards and programme targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing all internal packages from 1st fix through to final handover
- Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works progress in line with programme
- Monitoring quality standards and managing snagging processes
- Driving health & safety compliance across all internal works
- Conducting inspections and ensuring high-quality finishes throughout
- Liaising with site teams, consultants and subcontractors daily
- Managing apartment and communal area completions
- Supporting client inspections, handovers and defect management
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Internals Manager, Finishing Manager or Fit Out Manager
- Previous experience on high-rise residential, student accommodation or mixed-use developments
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- Excellent eye for detail and quality assurance
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications
- Ability to manage fast-paced internal programmes and multiple trades
