Role Summary
The Stores Supervisor oversees the day-to-day management of stock, from goods-in to dispatch. This role ensures efficient order processing, accurate stock control, and timely outbound shipping, working closely with fulfilment, calibration, and field operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, manage and develop the stores layout and processes with a focus on efficiency, compliance and quality management.
- Receive and process incoming stock, ensuring proper storage and documentation.
- Coordinate picking, packing, provisioning of customer outbound orders.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through digital systems and routine checks including annual cycle counts.
- Organise transport and dispatch of goods, ensuring correct labelling and paperwork.
- Liaise across departments to support fulfilment, calibration, and QC activities.
- Manage the inspection and processing of customer returns.
Requirements
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or fulfilment operations.
- Self-starter with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using stock management or ERP systems, specifically Business Central or Sage.
