Role Summary
As a Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for performing adjustments and testing of temperature monitoring probes and equipment. Your work will ensure that all sensors meet defined technical and quality standards before they are deployed to customers, allowing them to meet regulated UKAS compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Calibrate and test devices in accordance with technical specifications and quality guidelines.
- Complete configuration checks and prepare units for final approval including quality control and investigation of failed calibration outcomes.
- Ensure accurate documentation of calibration results and certification records.
- Collaborate with the wider production team to support process improvements, traceability and planning.
- Assist in the preparation, labelling, and packaging of calibrated equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised calibration area.
Requirements
- Background in electronics, metrology, or a technical testing environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Familiarity with calibration equipment and procedures in an ISO 17025 environment.
