Project Overview
We are engaging experts in Tamil to record short scripted reads. Think light voice acting/voiceover: clean diction, natural delivery, and consistent quality. We are looking for expressive and conversational actors. If you have a quiet space and a decent mic, we want to hear you.
Must speak 2 languages well (preferably non-English). Must have native fluency in the listed language and either:
- equal proficiency in the other,
- near native in the other, or
- working proficiency in the other.
Responsibilities
- Record short lines and paragraphs in your dominant language (various tones: friendly, neutral, authoritative).
- Participate in paired or group script readings with other Tamil speakers, typically short scripts of around 5 minutes.
- Follow direction and retake as needed for timing, emphasis, and clarity.
- Submit clean, well-labeled audio files on schedule.
Requirements
- Native-level fluency in your language and a strong, easy-to-understand speech.
- Silent recording environment (no background noise, echo, or hum).
- Crisp audio: a good microphone is a big plus (USB/XLR), stable setup, pop filter if possible.
- Ability to follow briefs and take notes on pronunciation or style.
