About Us: We are a creative event production company specialising in scenic build and lighting design for events, including product launches, corporate and private parties, weddings, festivals, and brand activations across the UK and Europe.

The Role: The primary focus of this position is to oversee the daily operations of our workshop, warehouse, and on-site delivery. You will play a key role in coordinating departments, improving efficiency, and ensuring high standards across all operational areas. You will manage and support the logistics, purchasing, workshop, and warehouse teams, ensuring all departments are aligned and performing effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying inefficiencies, improving processes, and maintaining productivity within a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are essential, as you will be responsible for team management, staff reviews, and recruitment. This position requires hands-on experience in the event production industry. We are looking for someone who combines strong management and organisational skills with a practical, team-oriented attitude, as well as being equally comfortable leading strategy, and stepping onto the warehouse floor when needed. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company within the events industry, running varied projects alongside a driven and friendly team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day running of warehouse and workshop operations, drive efficiency, productivity, and profitability across all departments, implement and maintain company policies and procedures, ensure Health & Safety standards are upheld at all times.
  • Production & Logistics: Oversee our Logistics Department and support crew bookings and vehicle logistics, manage and support purchasing across the business, liaise with the Workshop Production Manager on warehouse operations, maintenance, schedules, timelines, and delivery, ensure smooth coordination and delivery of rental and production bookings, manage, support, and develop operational teams, conduct staff reviews and assist with recruitment, foster a positive, proactive, and collaborative working environment.
  • Quality & Reporting: Maintain quality control across workshop and warehouse operations, liaise closely with Directors, providing regular updates and highlighting any risks or issues.
  • Health & Safety: Maintain a strong working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements across workshop, warehouse, and live event environments, prepare and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements where required.

Additional Information: Due to the nature of the events industry, occasional evening and weekend work will be required. Salary will be dependent on experience and the value the candidate brings to the business. This is a full-time role based on a 45-hour working week, with a six-month probation period.
