We are looking for a Director of Corporate Development to lead and manage the business development and strategic advisory function of the firm, with a particular focus on the gaming industry. This is a senior partner-level position intended for someone looking to help build and scale the firm long-term. The role includes equity participation and carry structure participation tied to the growth and success of the business, rather than a traditional corporate employment structure.
Key Responsibilities- Leading and managing the advisory and consultancy business development pipeline.
- Sourcing and evaluating game studios, IP acquisition opportunities, and strategic partnerships.
- Building and maintaining relationships with developers, publishers, investors, and strategic partners across the gaming industry.
- Supporting M&A initiatives, commercial negotiations, and strategic growth opportunities.
- Managing operational, creative, and execution-focused due diligence processes.
- Assessing studio capability, production pipelines, team structure, and delivery risk.
- Supporting portfolio companies through hands-on strategic consulting and operational intervention when required.
- Driving post-transaction integration and execution alignment across stakeholders.
- Contributing to investor materials, publisher presentations, go-to-market strategies, and commercial positioning.
- Overseeing and coordinating BD efforts across the advisory division to ensure consistent deal flow and client acquisition.
- Preparing strategic recommendations, reports, and market assessments for GP and Managing Partner review.
- Strong network within the gaming industry.
- Prior experience in business development, corporate development, publishing, investment, or strategic advisory.
- Strong understanding of game production pipelines, studio structures, and commercial publishing models.
- Ability to evaluate both creative and operational aspects of gaming businesses.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
