This is a rare opportunity to for a European Procurement Lead to step into a strategic leadership role where youll help shape how procurement operates across Europedriving value, improving supplier performance, and embedding best-in-class procurement practices across multiple markets. Youll work closely with senior stakeholders and play a key role in aligning procurement activity with wider business goals, with strong visibility at leadership level. What Youll Be Doing As a European Procurement Lead: Lead and develop procurement strategy across multiple European countries Build and implement category strategies aligned to business priorities Drive consistency in procurement processes, governance, and supplier frameworks Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing activities (RFI, RFP, negotiation, contract award) Manage key indirect spend categories including: Fleet & mobility IT & telecommunications Technical and operational equipment General indirect spend / overheads Identify and deliver cost savings and value creation opportunities Develop strong, long-term supplier partnerships focused on performance, innovation and sustainability Lead complex negotiations with international suppliers Ensure robust contracts aligned with compliance and risk requirements Track and improve supplier performance through KPIs and reviews Embed ESG and responsible sourcing principles into procurement decisions Youll be responsible for procurement activity across: United Kingdom Netherlands Nordics (Denmark, Norway, Sweden) Poland Experience for the European Lead Buyer : 58 years experience in procurement or strategic sourcing Strong exposure to multi-country European environments Experience in indirect procurement categories preferred Background in international or matrix organisations Skills & Strengths Strong commercial and analytical mindset Confident negotiator with proven cost optimisation experience Ability to influence senior stakeholders across multiple countries Experience driving procurement transformation or change initiatives Comfortable working with data and procurement tools/systems Strong cultural awareness and adaptability across European markets Languages Fluent English required French language skills highly desirable
