Role Overview forSales Administrator

Invigorate Recruitment is working with its client in Wetherby to recruit a Sales Administrator who will play a key role in supporting the sales function by managing incoming quotation requests from clients across the UK and international markets.

This role is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses to all quotation enquiries received via email, while maintaining strong internal coordination with sales, operations, and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities for theSales Administrator

  • Monitor and manage a quotations inbox, ensuring all client enquiries are acknowledged and processed promptly
  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotations based on client requirements, pricing guidelines, and internal policies
  • Liaise with internal teams (sales, logistics, procurement, finance) to gather necessary information for pricing and availability
  • Ensure all quotations are aligned with company margins, terms, and conditions
  • Follow up on issued quotations to track progress and support conversion into confirmed orders
  • Maintain accurate records of all enquiries, quotations, and outcomes within CRM or internal systems
  • Support the sales team with administrative tasks, reporting, and documentation as required
  • Handle client communications professionally, providing clear information and resolving basic queries
  • Assist in improving quotation processes and response times

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a sales support, customer service, or administrative role (B2B environment preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data handling
  • Excellent written communication skills, particularly for professional email correspondence
  • Ability to manage multiple enquiries and prioritise workload effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook); experience with CRM systems is an advantage
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of pricing structures is desirable
  • Experience working with international clients or multi-currency quotations is a plus
