Assistant

Buyer: This is a fast-paced, hands-on role supporting the Homeware Buyer in building a distinctive, feel-good product range that reflects the brands fun, spontaneous and free spirit.

Youll play a key part in bringing new ideas to life - from initial concept through to in-store and online launch.

This is an exciting development opportunity with clear progression potential to Junior Buyer for the right candidate.

Technical Requirements Support the Buyer in building a balanced, commercially successful product mix.

Write, place and manage purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.

Track orders to ensure product is delivered on time, to specification and within agreed cost prices.

Negotiate with suppliers and build positive, long-term relationships.

Research new suppliers, product opportunities and emerging trends.

Contribute to range planning, pricing architecture and competitive analysis.

Monitor stock levels and support inventory management to optimise availability and minimise risk.

Assist with budgeting and forecasting, identifying purchasing trends and opportunities.

Analyse product performance, compiling reports and making recommendations based on data.

Work cross-functionally with Merchandising, Design, QA and Marketing to ensure smooth product delivery Experience A graduate with a degree in Fashion Buying (or a related discipline), or An experienced Buying Assistant with a minimum of 1 years experience You will be: Passionate about product and product development.

Commercially aware with a strong understanding of margin and cost control.

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

Confident communicating with internal teams and external suppliers.

Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-moving retail environment.
