Are you a proactive, customer-focused sales professional? Do you enjoy building relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering outstanding customer service? We're looking for an enthusiastic Internal Sales Engineer to join a successful and growing team based in Menston. This is an office-based role where you'll play a key part in supporting customers, providing technical sales advice, preparing quotations, and developing long-term business relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and technical sales support.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Respond to customer enquiries relating to quotations, orders, invoices, and stock availability.
  • Prepare accurate quotations and process sales orders efficiently.
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities and develop new customer accounts into long-term trading relationships.
  • Promote digital sales channels, including the company webshop and online services.
  • Support promotional campaigns, supplier events, product launches, and sales initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively across the business to ensure customers receive the highest level of service.

About You

  • Previous experience in an internal sales, technical sales, or customer-facing sales role.
  • Experience within the automation, engineering, industrial, or electrical sector would be highly advantageous.
  • A proven ability to work in a target-driven sales environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive approach with the confidence to identify and convert sales opportunities.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A flexible attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good IT skills and a willingness to embrace new technologies and digital sales platforms.
