Invigorate Recruitment is looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant to join the wider Finance Team of a business on the outskirts of Leeds to provide a wide range of essential financial analysis services to the business. You will prepare, develop and analyse financial information so that leadership teams have reliable figures on which to base their critical strategic decisions.
Technical Requirements for the Management Accountant:
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and associated reports
- Perform day-to-day accounting duties, including involvement in the upkeep of the main ledgers and cashbook
- Assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts and tax returns
- Working with senior management to produce Year-End accounts
- Analysis of monthly accounts
- Liaising with the audit team and other external stakeholders
- Assisting non-financial stakeholders
- Supporting the budget process
- Support in the balance sheet reconciliation process
- Understanding and challenging the cost base
- Evaluate commercial performance metrics
Experience:
You will be fully qualified (or close to completing) your ACCA or CIMA accreditation and be comfortable with ongoing learning and development. You should have a strong eye for detail and an analytical mindset as well as being comfortable with challenging assumptions. You should hold strong Microsoft skills including Word and Excel and be comfortable with PowerPoint and compiling and delivering presentations.
