Invigorate Recruitment is proud to partner with our client based in Bradford to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with solid experience and strong knowledge of SAGE to join a well-established organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily bank reconciliations
  • Manage purchase and sales ledgers
  • Undertake credit control activities
  • Process supplier and customer payments
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns
  • Reconcile expenses and company credit cards
  • Manage petty cash transactions
  • Respond to email queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Liaise effectively with business partners and internal stakeholders
  • Support with ad hoc accounting duties as required

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar accounts assistant or finance role
  • Proficient in SAGE and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Clear and professional communication abilities

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
