Location: Preston Hours: Full Time – 40 hours per week (08:30 – 17:00) About the Role We are looking for an experienced and motivated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team based in Preston. This is a full-time position offering a varied role carrying out planned maintenance and servicing of air conditioning systems across a range of sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance services while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company procedures. Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) on air conditioning systems.
  • Undertake maintenance and servicing of refrigeration equipment, including chilled cabinets, multideck units, and ice machines, where required.
  • Diagnose faults using installation designs and manufacturer-specific troubleshooting procedures.
  • Complete all work-related documentation accurately and within required timescales.
  • Maintain detailed inspection reports, service records, and logs of remedial works.
  • Comply with all Health & Safety regulations and Permit to Work procedures. Essential

Requirements

  • City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Air Conditioning or Heating & Ventilation.
  • Valid F-Gas and ODS certification.
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation and Permit to Work procedures.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
