My client is a major FM company who are recruiting a Multi-skilled Shift Engineer to work on a prestigious contract in Whitechapel, managing M&E and critical building systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong, technically capable maintenance engineer ready to step into a high-profile commercial site.
The Role
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across landlord building services
- Take ownership of electrical systems including LV & HV distribution, plant, and associated infrastructure
- Supervise contractors and ensure all works are completed safely and compliantly
- Respond to faults, incidents, and alarms within a critical environment
- Maintain accurate records using site systems and permits to work
About You
- Hold electrical qualifications (Level 3 considered if technically strong)
- Have solid experience working within commercial building services
- Are confident fault-finding across electrical and wider M&E systems
- Can lead by example on shift and take responsibility for site operations
- Are professional, reliable, and safety-focused
High Voltage experience is not essential — HV training will be provided after 3 months.
